KYKLOS – Centre for Arts and Cultures has appointed curator and writer Kostas Stasinopoulos as its Director of Exhibitions and Programmes, in a key curatorial role ahead of the institution’s upcoming opening in Piraeus, Greece. He will join the founding team in shaping the artistic and conceptual direction of the centre, which is set to position itself as a major new international cultural destination.
In his new role, Stasinopoulos will be responsible for developing KYKLOS’ exhibition programme, collection displays, and new commissions. His remit also includes the creation of live events, research-driven initiatives, and educational platforms, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach that reflects the institution’s ambition to operate across contemporary art, performance, and critical discourse.
Currently based in London, Stasinopoulos works at the Serpentine Galleries, where he is Curator of Live Programmes, overseeing interdisciplinary work spanning performance, moving image, talks, and experimental formats. His appointment marks a return to Greece after over two decades abroad, bringing with him extensive international experience across leading art institutions and collaborative projects in Europe.
